Which means one thing: you need an outfit that looks as good in photos as you feel wearing it. Period. Because if it’s not on Instagram, did the date even happen?

1. The “Ooh La La” Dress
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like the main character at a Parisian rooftop party, this dress is it. I’m obsessed with the effortlessly chic scoop back and that daring slit.
The fabric flows just enough to keep it comfy without clinging everywhere, it hugs in all the right places.
2. The “Pretty in Plumes” Dress
This dress owns Valentine’s Day. The bold pink is unapologetically vibrant, and the feathered sleeves bring just the right amount of drama.
Even better, it’s not tight. This is a no-spanx-required dress that lets you breathe, move, and enjoy every bite of dessert without a second thought.
I love how they styled it on the website—with statement earrings, and a chic clutch.
3. For the Rebel
When I want to channel my inner badass, I always reach for AllSaints. Their pieces have that perfect mix of edgy and effortless. I snagged this dress from them last year, and while it’s sadly sold out, they’ve still got some killer styles at Nordstrom.

Now, fair warning: this store has amazing materials, and the price tag isn’t shy about it. But fear not—I’ve hunted down some Amazon options too. There’s a trendy top and a silky blouse that’ll make you look fabulous and leave enough in your wallet for dessert.
Feeling extra flirty? This coquette little number is adorable, pair it with jeans and call it a day.
At the top of Revolve’s lineup, I found two tops that photograph beautifully. The first is perfect for someone fashion-forward—bold, stylish, and wearable. The second is a luxury cut-out bustier (luxury price too)
5. After Dinner… Let’s Talk Underwear
It feels almost criminal not to mention underwear on Valentine’s Day—even if it’s got zero chance of making it into the photos.
If I’m being honest with you, my everyday underwear is plain AF. No wild patterns, and definitely nothing that shows through my clothes unless that’s on purpose. In my opinion, the best underwear money can buy is La Perla, this bra and these panties.
Now, when it comes to fun Valentine’s underwear, that’s a different story. I want it cheap. Like, falling-apart-next-week cheap, lol, well, not that much. Nasty Gal totally gets it—they’ve got all the playful, themed lingerie that’s cute.
