Nobody Takes Good Photos—Until They Do
The Love Photo Challenge: Capture Connection & Look Effortlessly Photogenic
I used to think looking good in photos was just luck.
I was wrong.
Looking effortlessly photogenic isn’t about being naturally good at photos—it’s about knowing what works.
The problem is that most people make one of three mistakes when trying to improve:
❌ They pose without a plan and hope for the best.
❌ They assume “just be confident” is real advice.
❌ They never actually practice taking photos.
And then they wonder why they hate every picture.
Capturing that perfect moment becomes even trickier when the frame includes the ones we love—be it that enigmatic partner, your inseparable friends, or the wonderfully chaotic family. Suddenly, your photo isn’t just about you; it’s about the beautifully imperfect dance of connection.
But here’s the secret: looking effortlessly photogenic, whether you’re posing solo or with your favorite people, is a skill—and like any skill, you can learn it.
This February, a month awash in love, I'm inviting you to join the Love Photo Challenge—a chic, step-by-step journey designed to transform everyday snapshots into stunning, emotion-filled photos.
I Wasn’t Always Photogenic—Here’s What Changed
I wasn’t always comfortable in front of the camera.
Before earning my Master’s in Fine Arts and working as a professional photographer, I was shy and would rather be behind the lens than in front of it. But everything changed when I started my own studio.
📸 I had to make my clients feel comfortable—so I had to learn how to model confidence myself.
📱 I had to promote my work on social media—so I had to learn how to present myself visually.
Through this process, I realized something huge: being photogenic is not about looks. It’s about presence, expression, and knowing how to use the camera to your advantage.
At the same time, I included my family and friends in the process of creating my tips. None of them were models or intended to be, but they all wanted to capture a moment with me—a person they love—to remember.
Since then, I’ve helped countless clients—and millions of people online—take better photos of themselves, whether solo or in groups. I get messages all the time from people who finally feel confident in front of the camera and realize how much they missed by not being in photos before.
💘 Introducing: The Love Photo Challenge
February is here, which means love is everywhere.
Romantic love. Friendship love. Family love. Self-love.
But love isn’t just something we feel—it’s something we capture.
This month, I’m guiding you through a 4-week challenge to help you document love beautifully—and make sure you look incredible doing it.
For paid subscribers, I’m sharing my best tips, posing tricks, and photography secrets so you can:
📸 Take stunning, emotion-filled photos—whether it’s a romantic shot, a candid with friends, or a self-portrait that radiates confidence.
💡 Learn how to pose naturally—so you never feel awkward or forced in pictures
❤️ Express real connection in your photos—so every image tells a story.
Because great photos aren’t just about looking good.
They’re about feeling something.
Week 1: Chemistry
Most people don’t struggle with taking pictures.
They struggle with taking a good picture that shows connection.
Why? Because the first few always feel awkward. That’s when:
📸 You don’t know what to do with your hands.
📸 You feel stiff instead of natural.
📸 You take 100 photos and still hate them all.
But once you nail one good shot, something shifts:
💡 You learn what works for your face and body.
💡 You stop feeling awkward and start feeling in control.
💡 You realize looking photogenic isn’t about luck—it’s about technique.
That’s why Week 1 of the challenge is focused on helping you capture genuine chemistry—without overthinking.
Week 2: Revenge Photos
We all know the revenge photos.
You’re newly single and you want to look hot.
However, this isn’t just for the single crowd.
Even if you’re in a relationship, you still want to look hot.
And if there’s no one to get revenge on, guess what? You still deserve to look hot just for you.
I’ve heard it all before. And many of you don’t dare!
"I can’t take a photo alone. I feel awkward."
The issue? You’re not setting yourself up to own the spotlight.
💡 Weak Solo Photos:
Standing stiff, unsure of how to hold yourself.
Awkward smiles that feel more forced than fierce.
Playing it safe with poses that don’t reflect who you really are.
🔥 Revenge Photos That Radiate Confidence:
Bold, striking poses that scream independence.
Strong, unapologetic expressions that show you know your worth.
Styling choices that reflect your unique personality and power.
Inside the challenge, I’ll show you exactly how to master solo shots that feel like a statement. Week 2 is about more than just looking good—it’s about reclaiming your confidence.
Week 3: Love Through the Years
Creativity is a muscle that needs to be trained.
To be creative, you need to connect to your roots, make mistakes, and blend the old with the new.
Your photos feel boring because:
❌ You take the same old photos every time you go out.
❌ You’re scared to try something new.
❌ You lack direction in an overwhelming sea of options.
What you really need is:
💡 Creative direction that pushes you to try something old and something new.
💡 Accountability to show up, make mistakes, and succeed with support.
💡 Techniques to blend nostalgia with a modern twist, showcasing your growth and the enduring power of love.
In Week 3 of this challenge, I’m going to share an exercise that will have you digging into your roots—and revealing a fresh, new version of yourself in the process.
Week 4. Everyday Love Stories:
I’m gonna get romantic here
"My life isn’t interesting enough to photograph."
You haven’t learned how to see the beauty in the everyday moments that make your life uniquely yours. This might even be blocking real connection through social media—where we share our lives with loved ones we don’t see all the time.
💡 Why Your Photos Feel Flat:
You’re waiting for big moments.
You overlook the details in your daily routines because you don’t know what to look for.
You haven’t learned how to turn ordinary objects into powerful storytelling tools.
🔥 What You’ll Learn in Week 4:
How to identify and document small, meaningful details that tell your story.
Techniques to transform familiar environments and routines into emotion-filled photos.
Step-by-step guidance on capturing the beauty in objects, moments, and connections you experience every day.
In Week 4, I’ll teach you how to find the magic in your daily life—and show you exactly how to turn those simple, overlooked moments into powerful, lasting images.
What Makes This Challenge Different?
This challenge isn’t just about tips—it’s about transformation.
Unlike a random tutorial, this challenge guides you through a process. You’re not just reading about how to look better in photos—you’re practicing it every week with expert guidance.
This is about real results. Real confidence. And real photos that you’ll actually love.
