I have discovered something so life-changing, so earth-shatteringly fun, that I’m questioning every party I’ve ever thrown before now.
This week, I collaborated with Hulu to promote the TV show DOC, and let me tell you, this was NOT your usual collab package. No, they sent me a Photo Booth. And not just any Photo Booth—one that doesn’t require an engineering degree, a forklift, or a second mortgage to store.
I’ve always wanted a Photo Booth, but they’re usually the size of a small car (lol. I’m being dramatic), and I don’t have the space (or the patience) for one. But this? It’s light. It’s thin. It’s stylish. It even has a built-in ring light so everyone looks nice.
And then, just when I thought it couldn’t get any better—it prints the photos. Instantly. With a subtle filter. Nothing says ”I am the most photogenic person alive” like a gentle retro airbrush effect.
Naturally, I rushed to the internet to see if this was some exclusive, one-time, never-to-be-seen-again collab stunt… but NOPE! It’s on Amazon. Which means it can be on your doorstep faster than you can say impulse purchase.
I don’t even have a party planned anytime soon, but now I feel obligated to throw one just to justify owning this masterpiece. Because let’s be honest—nothing beats a printed photo. We have thousands of pictures on our phones, but there’s something about holding an actual, tangible, real-life photo that feels like a time capsule of happiness.
I’ll link all the details below in case you want to join me in my new obsession. And here’s the promo video I made—it has nothing to do with the Photo Booth, yet somehow everything to do with it. You’ll see the happiness on my face, lol!
And if you want something even more portable, I highly recommend a Polaroid camera—these ones are my current two favorites.
That’s all for now! If you need me, I’ll be aggressively forcing everyone in my life to take Photo Booth pictures with me.
💛 With love,
Bonnie
