What Nobody Tells You About Fat Arms in Photos

If you’re absolutely ripped, this post is NOT for you. I already did a workshop on highlighting your gym gains in photos. You can find it here.

But for the rest of us, I see you. You’re not crazy. Maybe your arms are just bigger compared to your body, maybe you're dealing with weight fluctuations, or maybe your arms simply betray you every time a camera appears. The reason isn’t important. What matters is when you see that final photo, you feel off. Uncomfortable. Maybe even a little less fabulous.

Most people won’t talk about this openly, but I’m not most people. My goal is simple: make you feel confident, sexy, and genuinely excited every time a camera is pointed your way.

Here’s what years of working with all kinds of clients taught me: Everyone has their "thing." Arms, stomach, face shape (I even had someone whose "thing" was their fingernails). The only way to handle it is to face it directly and find smart workarounds. Life doesn’t pause while we figure it out, and I’m here to help you feel photogenic right now.

My personal "thing" has always been my arms. Through years of testing, experimenting, and tweaking, I discovered two major reasons arms look bigger in photos:

  1. The Pose

  2. The Camera

Today, we’re diving into the pose. Specifically, the sneaky, unconscious ways you’re holding your body that accidentally amplify the issue. Let’s fix it.

Short Workshop:

💪 The Pose: How you’re unintentionally making your arms look bigger

📸 Instant Fixes: Easy adjustments you can make immediately

This workshop is written and straight to the point. Just actionable tips, clear examples, and a dash of my signature sass, from someone with a Master’s in Fashion Photography (yep, that’s me).
